PELISTER DOWNHILL CUP

1. INFORMATION

1.1 Rules

– Pelister Downhill Cup will be held according to the rules of the Union Cycliste Internationale UCI, and according to the rules of the Macedonian Bicycle Federation.

– Pelister Downhill Cup will be held within the Balkan Downhill Cup and will be ranked for the rankings of the BFM Bicycle Federation of Macedonia.

– All competitors who will participate in the training, the qualifications and the final race are accepting the rules and are obliged to respect them.

– The organizer is not responsible for any legal consequences in the event of an accident or compensation for damage for the equipment of the competitors.

– The organizer is not responsible for any acts made by the competitors to and from third parties.

– Competitors under 18 years of age must submit an agreement / statement from a parent or guardian.

– When picking up the starting package it is necessary to submit an agreement / statement with all necessary information (.PDF compliance). Competitors younger than 18 years of age must be accompanied by an adult (parent or member of the club) who will be responsible.

2.3 Registration and startup

– Registration for the competition can be done at the following email address:

extremebiketeambitola@gmail.com by submitting all necessary information for the competitor (by completing the application published on www.kupikartizase.com) and submitting a map for the competition that competitors can purchase from the following link www.kupikartizase.com/Events/pelisterdownhill .

– Group registration can be done by submitting the application with all necessary information from each competitor in the group / club and submitting the purchased card as a proof of the payment made for the application to be valid.

– Registration for the competition can be done by 27.05.2018

– The price for the competition is 900 denars (15 euros) for competitors holding UCI licence and they have applied by the deadline. The price for the competitors holding the UCI licence and applying after the deadline (possibility also to apply on the spot) is 1200 denars (20 euros)

– The price for the competitors who do not possess the UCI licence and will apply until the deadline is 1200 denars (20 euros). The price for the competitors who do not possess the UCI licence and who applied after the deadline (possibility also to apply on the spot) is 1500 denars (25 euros).

2.4 Schedule

FRIDAY 01.06.2018

10:00 – 13:00 Review of the trail without bikes

13:00 – 18:00 Unofficial training without transportation, medical team, rescue service and judges.

SATURDAY 02.06.2018

08:00 – 10:00 Registration and taking of the starting numbers

10:00 – 16:00 Official training with provided transport, chairlift, medical team and judges.

Sunday 03.06.2018

09:00 – 11:00 Official training with provided transport, chairlift, medical team and judges.

12:00 – 14:00 Qualifications with provided transport, chairlift, medical team and judges.

15:00 Final downhill

The organizer reserves the right to change the timetable and the time for the purpose of faster and better organization of the competition.

2.5 Measuring time

Measurement of time will take place in chronometers.

The results will be visible on the finish of a large display so that the audience and competitors are informed in a timely manner.

2.6 Transport

The organizer will provide an appropriate number of vehicles for the transport of the competitors and chairlift.

Competitors are obliged to keep to the schedule.

2.7 Prizes

Medals and trophies will be awarded to all categories for the first three placed competitors.

The organizer, in cooperation with the sponsors and the partners of the race, provides additional awards for the best three times in all categories:

The prize for the first best time is 400 euros

The second best time prize is 200 euros

The prize for the third best time is 100 euros

2.8 Technical specifications of the trail

Length: 2100 meters

Height difference: 425 meters

Number of judges on the trail: 2

Number of walks on the trail: 20

2.9 Accommodation

Possibility for accommodation in Hotel Molika in cooperation with Extreme Bike Team with provided discount.

The prices for accommodation in Hotel Molika are as follows:

– 1170 denars / 20 euro (full board)

– 1050 denars / 17 euros (half board)

– 920 denars / 15 euro bed + breakfast

The hotel reservation is made together with the registration for the competition by indicating the number of persons staying at the hotel.

The provided discount for the accommodation of the competitors will be valid by submitting the application/ticket for the competition directly to the hotel.

Competitors can also make a reservation directly in the hotel if there are free rooms.

Camping – The organizer provides a camping space near the trail itself.

The organizer does not provide tents and other camping equipment.
